Pressure washing the front of a store can become a big job –
– when there are a bunch of little jobs involved.
Sports Authority has become a much more nationally recognized name due to their purchase of the naming rights of Invesco Field at Mile High. Sports Authority has always been well known name in Denver – the company started here. They’ve gone to great lengths to maintain a good name with their hometown.
One example of this is the money they put into cleaning up the front and sides of the building they took over across the street from Southwest Plaza on south Wadsworth in Littleton. The building was getting older and needed some mortar repairs and the edges of the rooftops had
become popular roosts for pigeons, leading to piles of droppings on the sidewalk below. Sports Authority called us for pressure washing service on the building, signs and sidewalks to remove the unsightly and smelly waste.
We did some graffiti removal on an old tag. And we cleaned a grease stain in front of the doors.
After the mortar repairs were completed, the contractor failed to properly clean up the brick of smears and globs from his work. Because much of this poor finish was around the two entrances to the store, Sports Authority had Wash On Wheels clean it up.
We used a special type of acid and carefully applied it so it wouldn’t cause discoloration to the concrete sidewalk below the brick. After acid washing the excess mortar, we pressure washed everything to give it a uniform appearance.
