We recently did a graffiti removal job at Clements Park for the Foothills Park and Recreational District.

Their maintenance crew tried the graffiti removal themselves but weren’t happy with the results they were getting. It wasn’t the kind of tag they normally see on walls.

They were spray painted on the concrete floor of the picnic area – not an area that you normally see tags in.

Since the graffiti tags couldn’t be seen from any distance away – you had to be standing almost on top of them to see them – it makes you wonder why they spent the effort. But graffiti tags aren’t done for any reason that makes much sense.

We took some pictures of the graffiti removal process – before, during, and after.  Since the crew that did the job had to leave before the concrete had dried, one of our managers stopped by a few days later to get the after pictures. That’s why they have some leaves  and dirt on them.

Having the correct equipment and materials don’t necessarily guarantee you will get the graffiti removal done properly. It takes experience to know how to apply and use the materials correctly. Even different colors of the same paint aren’t always the same procedure.

Graffiti removal is one of those things where trying to save money by doing it yourself doesn’t always work. And if you don’t already have a good quality pressure washer, it isn’t even worth considering doing it yourself.

Just call an experienced graffiti removal company and make the problem go away.
