The Regal Cinema in Sheridan called us for sidewalk pressure washing a few weeks ago.
They wanted to get things spruced up for the holiday season. For the last few years, most of the big movies are released this time of year. Many people have extra time and days off they like to spend at the theaters.
So like the retail stores, Regal Cinemas wanted to get things looking bright and festive for their busy season.
One of the problems with sidewalk pressure washing in Colorado winters is dealing with the cold temperatures. Many stores need to have their sidewalks, entrances, and trash enclosures cleaned before they open for business in the morning. But if the temperatures are too cold, you can create a skating rink.
And pressure washing with hot water isn’t always the answer. There are variables that can affect this, like whether it was sunny and warm the day before. Then the sidewalks might stay warm enough even when temperatures drop below freezing. But many times – just like the science experiments in school – hot water will freeze faster than cold.
Because we have been dealing with Colorado winters for more than 30 years, we have figured out how to get the job done. Like we did with Regal Cinemas, we can send more than one truck so we get the job done quicker when the window for cleaning is shorter.
