People are taking advantage of the warm temperatures this year and keeping their boats in the water as long as possible. But fall is sneaking up on us and we just had our first snow in the mountains last night.
Our boat cleaning service out at Chatfield Reservoir is starting slow because of those warm temperatures. We’re not sure how dirty the boats will be out there this year since they have the Waterton Canyon Dam closed. But there isn’t as much circulation in the waters this year so they may come out dirtier, especially with the extra warmth. We’ll have to wash a few to see for sure, but we’ve already had quite a few brought to our shop for an acid wash.
So we’re expecting a rush for boat cleaning services later this month since all the boats have to be out of the water by November first. If you’re going to be on a tight schedule, call us now to get the time that works best for you.
