Pressure Washing Services – At Eight Degrees
This time he needed us to clean some kitchen grease filters. He usually brings them to our shop and we clean them when we can.
But this time, he brought them to us when temperatures were staying well below freezing – and he needed them cleaned that week. Fortunately, we had some of our crews in the shop working on our equipment.
We had one of our crews take the filters outside and spread them out on some plywood sheets on top of the snow. The multiple screens have to be taken out of the filters to clean each one.
Pressure washing in Denver’s winter temperatures
We sprayed our custom-made food degreaser on the screens to loosen the grease so it would all come off. Then we used hot water to pressure wash everything clean. We have to be careful not to use too much pressure since it’s pretty easy to bend the screens. Then we carried the filters and screens back into our shop to dry overnight.
When you run a pressure washing service in Denver, you need to be prepared to deal with winter temperatures. While we rarely do any pressure washing at eight degrees, our clients count on us to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
