We got an email today from Thumbtack informing us we were on of the top rated pressure washing services in Fort Collins. So of course we clicked the link to see it – and find out who else was on the page.
Not surprisingly, we were the only “pressure washing” service listed.
The others were window cleaners and painters who also do pressure washing.
And there’s nothing wrong with companies that do a little pressure washing in addition to their main service. We do some other services, too.
But their are many pressure washing jobs that need to be done by a professional. Not only to get it done the right way, but also to make sure you don’t cause yourself more problems.
The best example is those pressure washing jobs that require EPA water recovery. Do your really think a painter or window cleaner has the equipment or knowledge to be able to handle that? Having the EPA knock on your door because you saved $20 by hiring the cheapest guy in town is not something you really want to do.
And how about ruining the brick on your building because you hired that same cheap guy to remove graffiti? Try fixing that mistake and seeing what it would cost!
