The annual Bolder Boulder Race went off without a hitch this year with several interesting race finishers and the millionth person to cross the finish line. However, after the race was done and the crowd had dispersed, there was a mess left behind at the east end of Central Park around the municipal buildings.
Bolder Boulder organizers called Wash On Wheels to clean up all the sticky stains from spilled soda and leaky dumpsters. They called us because the area being cleaned was right next to the creek and wash water control and recovery was essential. Because we are certified with the P.A.C.E. program in Boulder, CO, they knew they could count on us to do the wash water recovery right.
The organizers were concerned about getting the area cleaned up as soon as possible. We had two crews on site that evening so we could finish pressure washing all the dirty areas by 10pm.
