New Stormwater Regulations in Aspen
In case you haven’t noticed, the enforcement for Stormwater regulations is increasing. And while Colorado hasn’t finalized its new laws on pressure washing, you may be asking for trouble if you ignore them. Fines can run as high as $25,000 per day.
In the last few months, Wash On Wheels has had contact with inspectors in Arvada, Aurora, Boulder, Pueblo, and Moab, Utah.
So if you’re not recovering the waste water and disposing of it properly – whether you’re a property owner, property manager, or a small pressure washing company – you’re gambling with your future. The last thing you need is an EPA inspector watching you like a hawk because you let the dirty water run into the storm sewer.
Below is a link to the article in last week’s Aspen Daily News about their new regulations. You can find more information on our Colorado stormwater-regulations page.
