Pressure Washing Reclaimed Barn Wood for New Lakewood Home
A customer called this week to ask us to clean up 23 oak beams that were reclaimed from a historical barn that was recently torn down in Iowa. The wood will be incorporated in a new home currently under construction in Lakewood.
When we arrived on site, a crew from the construction company unloaded the beams from a trailer and we got to work pressure washing over a century of dirt and dust off of the beams to clean them up while maintaining their rustic quality. We’re proud to have helped prepare the wood for it’s new life for the next hundred years (or more) and instead of ending up in a landfill.
It’s not a type of job we normally do, but we’re flexible and willing to help with all kinds of unique cleaning requests. Call us with yours today.
