All Hands on Deck in Aurora

There are a lot of pressure washing jobs – most of the ones that we do in fact – that can be cleaned efficiently by a small crew. However, every once in a while, a job comes around that requires all hands on deck.

Like this one out in a warehouse district in east Aurora. A fruit juice processing company has an ongoing issue with pineapple juice leaking out of their compactor and trucks as they unload the raw fruit, then the trucks track it all over the drive lanes between the parking areas and the warehouses. As spills go, this one smells a little sweeter than others that we normally handle. However, it still creates a sticky mess that needs to be cleaned up without the waste water running into the storm sewer.

It’s a very large area that needs to be cleaned within a small window of time in the morning when car and semi-truck traffic is as minimal as it gets. So we scheduled all of our crews to divide up the job to have multiple sprayers covering the lot while everyone else helped push the runoff water towards our collection point.
