Testing New Pressure Washing Products To Stay On The Leading Edge
Pressure washing takes more than just blasting dirt off with high pressure water.
Many jobs require special soaps and solvents to get the job done. Grease and oil spill cleanups, graffiti removal, and removing concrete splatter from cars are good examples.
So we have many different cleaning products we use. Some we purchase from regular suppliers. But we work with a chemist to have many of our products specially made just for us.
Custom made cleaning products
Our custom made food grease cleaner blows away anything else on the market. Our 25 years experience with so many different jobs allows us to know exactly what each product should do. So we can ask our chemist for specific improvements to tailor our products to do just what we need.
We cleaned a 10-story building a few years ago that they really wanted to brighten up. It took a few weeks of testing to get the right material to get the job done cost effectively, but the result was great!
Using the wrong material can cause big problems!
A small car wash company here in Denver was using some soap on auto dealer’s cars that wasn’t designed for the job. And after a few weeks, the cars had a dull film buildup that made the cars look terrible. When we were called in, even our custom made soap took some extra effort to remove the all that buildup. There were suds all over that dealer’s lot!
So when salespeople tout their cleaners, we always listen with some skepticism. We try their samples but almost always end up sending them packing. But we keep an open mind. We’ve discovered a great new product for removing rust stains from concrete and a new boat cleaner that in certain situations, will make the job go faster.
And some new cleaners are more environmentally friendly than in the past.
Quality work is our first priority
Our first priority is doing a good job for our clients. So effectiveness of the product is most important followed by price. If a lower cost product comes along that matches our current cleaners, we’d love to be able to lower the price we offer and gain more business.
As with most service oriented businesses, the goals of pressure washing don’t change much from one year to the next. So it’s important to do everything we can to be the best in the business.
It takes time to research and test each new product that comes to us. But it’s important to stay on the leading edge – providing our pressure washing clients with the best service at the best possible price.
Pressure Washing Company Lets Their Client Down
He had a restaurant that was supposed to be cleaned that day and the other company hadn't showed up or called him. He was pretty angry and didn't understand how they could treat their clients that way. It's unfortunate this happens. But - more unfortunately - it's not...
Dependable Pressure Washing – As Scheduled
So many times we get calls at Wash On Wheels because a potential customer had another Denver pressure washing company lined up who cancelled at the last moment - or just didn’t show up. Many of the projects we do are on a specific time frame. Our client needs...
John Hickenlooper at Wash On Wheels? Automating Customer Service Is A Really Bad Idea
Our company just got a letter addressed to John Hickenlooper at Wash On Wheels offering a free trial to Google Apps. (Click the letter to enlarge it) I'm fairly certain the Governor of Colorado isn't moonlighting at my company in a capacity I'm unaware of. We're not...
