Building Pressure Washing at Furniture Row
Furniture Row is making some changes and we got a call last week for building pressure washing.
Furniture Row is celebrating their 45th anniversary this year and are updating the look of some of their stores.
They recently hired Adele Arakawa as their new spokesperson. She retired from channel 9 News after 24 years where she was most recently the anchor of the nightly news.
On the day they called us, Furniture Row was updating their store at 58th and Broadway. When the old sign was taken down, they needed some building pressure washing where the old sign had been to get it clean before they installed the new one.
When a sign has been up for a few years, the building behind the sign, whether it is brick, siding, or metal, will usually be dirty. So unless the new sign completely covers the area where the old sign was, it will need cleaning. Sometimes it takes more than just a high pressure rinse.
Building pressure washing using a boom lift
Since the sign company had a snorkel lift on site, they needed someone that could do the building cleaning quickly.
Boom lifts come in many different sizes and configurations. And they can be expensive to rent. So they were looking for someone to get there soon. If the lift had to be rented for another day, it could cost an extra $500-1000.
Our crews already had full schedules for the day when they called us. Fortunately, we had a manager available who had plenty of experience running boom lifts.
If you have never run a lift before, especially a snorkel lift with all the joints and extensions that this one had, it can be quite a challenge to get the job done. We’ve seen lifts fall over or smash the side of the building when not operated properly.
Our manager got one of our extra trucks ready and was there in about an hour from the time they called. After he got set up, it didn’t take very long to get the job done. Knowing what tools you need and how to set up the job is half the battle. So if you need building pressure washing, call a company that has been doing this kind of work for more than 30 years.

Pressure Washing Commercial Building Gutters
When the gutters on top of Denver's commercial buildings get dirty, pressure washing is a great way to get them clean. The gutters on commercial buildings are often much larger than on a house because the roof is so much bigger. And the amount of dirt that accumulates...
