We got a call for pressure washing with water recovery in a Denver school basement from a contractor we work with.
Dora Moore Elementary School
They were working on the Dora Moore Elementary School in Denver, which was built in 1889. History Colorado writes, “The landmark, which has graced the corner of 9th and Corona since 1889, was designed by Denver’s first licensed architect, Robert S. Roeschlaub and features a 1909 addition.”
The contractor was replacing the old boiler with an updated unit. They needed us to clean up the base it had been sitting on for all these years. Since the boiler room was in the basement, we needed to be able to recover the waste water.
When our crew arrived, they did find a drain. But with a building this old, you can’t be sure they will be able to handle all the water. Having the ability and experience to deal with this kind of special job is one of the things our clients count on us for.
Pressure washing is more than just blasting away with high pressure. You have to know how to do unique jobs and things a little out of the ordinary. The number of phone calls asking if we can perform a special service far exceeds the number of calls for something simple.
