Decal Removal
Whether its a small sticker on the door, or a full vehicle wrap you need removed, our decal removal service can handle it.
Decal removal is usually a multi-step process. It’s more of a detailing job – not pressure washing. And we’ve done a lot of boat, car, and truck detailing since 1985.
You have to know how to deal with different surfaces and paint jobs. And you have to be experienced with adhesive removal.
And you have to have the patience not to try and rush through it. It’s easy to damage the underlying surface if you’re not careful.
Most decal removal is done only after the stickers have been on the vehicle for a few years. Once the wrap or sticker gets old, they get dried out and fall apart when you try to remove them. Then the sticker comes off leaving the hardened adhesive behind. And it has to be removed the right way to keep from damaging the paint.
Some decal removal jobs can be done on your site depending on weather. But that often costs more since it takes longer.
We always try to do them in our shop to insure the best job possible. We can bring them inside and control the temperature – which affects how long it takes and how much it costs.
