It’s winter in Colorado again and many of our Denver area truck washing clients are adding extra services.
Through the summer months, many of them get their trucks washed once per month. The bugs can build up pretty heavily in that time, but there’s not a lot of road grime.
But when winter storms hit the Denver Metro area, trucks quickly get filthy.
So from October through April many truck fleets have us wash their trucks at least twice per month. Washing more often during the winter is important not just for keeping your trucks clean.
It also decreases the damage to electrical wiring, brakes and rubber components caused by magnesium chloride and other chemicals that get splattered on the tractors and trailers along with snow and slush. Adding an undercarriage rinse to a regular truck wash can help extend the lifespan of these important components.
When you’re looking for an on-site truck washing company, be sure you know what kind of wash you need.
Wash On Wheels provides many options for getting your equipment clean. From a basic soap, brush and rinse to a thorough engine and undercarriage degreasing, trailer washouts, and waste water recovery. We also clean truck interiors and do truck and trailer detailing and buffing.
And we can adjust to the scheduling that works best for you. Just let us know – we’ll work with you to customize a service that meets your needs.
